Welcome to Elite Distributors Insurance Company

EDIC

It gives me great pleasure to present the Elite Distributors Insurance Company (EDIC) 2010 Annual Report. We are looking forward to celebrating our twentieth year of operation in 2011. Further acknowledgement is given to 17 members who joined during EDIC’s inaugural underwriting year and are still active today. Today, we maintain over $17.5 million in annual premium with over 100 active member companies located throughout the United States. Since EDIC’s start in 1991, we have distributed over $24 million in dividends to our members, including $5.5 million over the last year and a half.

This year’s report includes profiles of some of our distributor members along with testimonials about their EDIC experiences. In addition, we have listed all of our active members categorized by distributor type. Our member list reads like aWho’sWho list of the top distributors in business today. Our largest number of distributors continues to be Electrical; however, our other distributor types are showing significant member growth including Building Materials, HVAC, Industrial, Paper, and Plumbing.

We currently write accounts in 9 different Marketing Groups and continue to explore new group opportunities. EDIC’s goals align well with these marketing groups whose members also want to increase their buying power and bring control to their insurance programs, something generally afforded to only the largest of companies.

We continue to expand our regional broker network and are confident this and other growth initiatives will continue to offset the ever present challenges of a slow global economy.

OOn behalf of the EDIC Executive Committee and the dedicated service partners who continue to support us, I would like to thank you for your contributions over the years. A special thanks to our 20 year members who have helped make EDIC a viable alternative to traditional insurance. Through EDIC, we continue to empower our members to bring control to their world.

Sincerely,

Burton Schraga, Chairman
